So I like to shop. I think its an addiction. I have so many clothes in my closet with tags still on them. Though I am not a big spender, at all, these items do add up. Most things I find on clearence but $5 here and $3 there eventually add up and not wearing the clothes is a waste.
So why not wear them? Well I thought about this one day as I put one of the new shirts on and ripped the tag off. My thought was that I don't like to wear them for fear of losing them.
I love the items so much that I don't want them to fade, tear, shrink, stain etc. That I don't wear them for fear of not having them later. Does anyone else EVER think like this? It doesn't make sense to me, but that is the reason.
Today I bought another shirt on clearance that I hope to wear soon. For now it sits in my closet with all the other clothing (with tags) and one day will see the outside of the house. I got to get over this.
I don't know why, but I laughed at this. I know what you mean. I don't do it but I will admit, I seriously HATE when my shirt fades or stains, especially the first time you wear it. So not right.
